Check out the first collaboration with one of my awesome team mates, Josh!
After graduating college in May, I felt like I was in this weird waiting period before training camp in October. I knew the Lord had called me to this journey, but I wasn’t walking in the truth that He had for me.
At Training Camp, I met with the Lord in a way that I never had before. Through the help of our mentor, I was able to surrender some past hurt to the Lord and allow Him into the hard parts of my heart and He started healing that pain. I began walking in the Truth and Freedom He has for us.
By going on the World Race I am leaving behind many comforts. Some of these comforts are things that have been a part of my identity without me realizing it. Comforts themselves are not bad, but I began to slip into this space that these comforts began to control me and I began to idolize them.
Throughout this process, the Lord has continued to tear down doubts and obstacles to reveal His plan and His goodness. One of the biggest obstacles that He provider for me in was the financial commitment something like this takes. He continued to show up through people that I don’t even know, but they believed so much in what the Lord was doing here to support me and His mission.
Follow along for the great adventure God has called us both on!
